I think I need to clear this up a bit. Lets say y wanted to use protection being weary of the ex. Should they get offended or vise-versa?

Last update. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY cause its kinda confusing 4 me 2 help explain..What if the ex would be more likely 2 have been with another, but also not initiating condom use? Wondering why YOU DON'T take advantage of having sex. Therefore you both wonder y the sudden change.

It might offend me, but it also might make me think where they have been since they were with me last, as they are now an ex. Maybe they have caught something---and don't want to pass it on.

If it is a long term relationship and now the other person want to use a condom, if this is new then I would definatly wonder why. I mean either the spouse is affrd of catching something from you or maybe is affrd of giving u something.

No. Id appreciate his/her sense of responsibility. Its not just about STD protection, its about pregnancy prevention. Smart man Id say. Plus while being seperated you dont know what the other has done. Having an std dosent make anyone trash,it can happen after one time.

Not at all I would be grateful for them using some sense. Just because you have had a long term relationship in between god knows how many people each other has slept with!

The use of a condom should never offend anyone no matter who wants it on.

You should want to anyway. You don't know where he's been, either.
