It really depends on what you're eating honey. Try some of those diet drinks and I don't mean the kind to LOSE WEIGHT. There are some that are filled with all the right things to help you put on weight. One of them is Insure.
My brother, who was never in his life overweight, lost weight on what he called his "junk food diet" He wasn't trying to lose, but he certainly wasn't eating healthy. There's something to be said about healthy eating whether you want to gain or lose.
Although you'll hear about various fruits on weight loss diets, remember, almost all fruits have good vitamins along with natural sugars. Same with veggies. Don't look for a book on weight gain, find a book that shows you what good foods to eat. Talk to your doc absolutely. Good luck

If the doctor indicated no problems, then all you can do is what you are doing...eat.
First of all, consider how lucky you are in this day and age when many people are concerned about their weight. You have to realize you are still young and your metabolism is running rampant. As you become older, your metabolism WILL slow down. How much depends on your overall diet and activity level. But the bottom line is simple, you KNOW you are not anorexia or bulimic and there are no other problems. Just sit back, accept your fortune and enjoy it while it last because it won't be forever. In 20 years, you may be back here wondering how to lose weight.

Well, the gift of a fast metabolism is great, but I'm guessing you're short, so I wouldn't worry too much. It's not like your 5'9 or taller and 90 pounds is it?
If you want to weight more and look 'healthier' start excericsing and building muscle. Remember muscle weighs more than fat.
Good luck!

First thing you have to do is forget about worrying!
My wife never weighted more than 100 lbs when we were young - even wet - and she was the most sexy woman I knew.
After the birth of our children she's gone over the 100 lbs limit and she still is the most sexy woman I know.

Has anyone ever checked your TSH/Thyroid? You could be hyperthyroid which is causing you not to gain weight. If you are having any gastrointestinal symptoms (diarrhea, constipation) you could have something in your GI tract not allowing your body to absorb nutrients. Please go to your doctor if you are concerned.
