At regular intervals of about 10 minutes, I get a pop-up in the bottom corner of my screen, saying "Local Area Connection 2 Unplugged". This causes my Internet connection to be lost, and the "DSL" and "Data" lights on my modem to turn off. I then get a message saying "Aquiring Network Address", and when this is finished, my connection is resumed and the lights turn back on. However this happens all the time, and is really getting irritating. If you have encountered this problem before, or have any ideas then PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks :-)

Humm... Try Turning off your router for a couple of miuntes then turning it back on. If that doesnt work try clicking on the LAC icon and going to the "Support" tab, theres a button that says "Repair" and it might help. If that doesnt work then try turning off your comswitch for a minute if you have one. And if that doesnt work......I have no idea...lol
And i dont think its the phone company because it seems the LAN connection is the problem not the service but you could call them anyway.

It sounds like one of your cords might be loosely connected. Make sure all of your cords are tight. If that doesn't work, call comcast or whoever your provider is and get technical support. They will tell you to try unplugging your modem for 20 seconds, then restarting. Good luck!
