Is it possible to get any ring resized? I have this one in mind and need it resized from a 6 to an 8.

The jeweler will add metal to the back of the ring. It will cost more, but I don't see why it who be a problem.

If it's a substantial solid-metal ring, it can be stretched a little bit and that may be enough to go one size up. Two sizes and it'll probably have to have a piece of(hopefully-matching) gold put into it. The inserted piece won't necessarily match entirely as gold alloys differ in their composition, so the piece is usually put at the very back of the ring.

As long as it's a quality piece of jewelry solid gold or silver any jeweler should be able to re-size it, they will cut the band add an extra bit of metal to make it the correct size and solder the ring back together.

Yeah, and usually rings can be resized for free.
