yup...you can buy..in fact, you can install all their expansion pack and add on such as university, nightlife, open for business, glamor fun stuff,holiday fun stuff and christmas fun stuff.

Yes. As long as you have enough space on your computer you can install as many expansion packs as you want. Just put in the uninstalled cd and it will give you instructions on how to install it.

A pretty trick to do is: install the original Sims 2(don't buy it, just borrow it from a video club or something), borrow all the others expansion packs except the latest on market, then buy it and tara! You can play University, Nightlife and any other expansion just by paying 25$

you can install pets and university and still have it be both games. its will make it a combo of both games. as long as you have the base game, you can add as many EPs as you want!
the only thing is your sims cant have pets in college. they can buy a bird or "wormrat", but they can adopt a cat or dog. they will be waiting for you when u finish college
