i'm confused about my feelings about saddam's death.
i'm definitely happy that he is dead so he can't murder any more people of my country (iraq).
but i don't support the way they killed him.
i know murdering gets you to hell.
but letting the person suffer (even though he deserved it) is quite an inhumane way of executing someone coz it's hard to watch and hanging just sound weird. coz it's an old and forgotten way of execution.
so i'm confused.
i'm happy that he's gone, but i don't approve of the way they killed him.
i suppose that sums up my answer.

i can c im in the minority here, but i actually feel saddened, im not sure y i cant quite believe i have witnessed such a thing, especially as it was UK and US governments who have in part assisted in this act coming about.

People need to keep in mind that his way were not outstanding to his locality, and my guess would b the nesxt leader of Iraq will continue in a simular vein.

Im not a saddam supporter, far from it, im trying to remain objective and consider y this has all come about in the first place, there are lots of questions we should b asking to fully understand.

peace talks, tribes have been killing each other for thousands of years, and Saddam Hussein like it or not was carrying on that tradition, and who ever takes over will do the same.the 7th cavalry cant solve ever thing, waving a wand will not bring results.let them fight it out.is the only way.

Most people feel the loss of Saddam was tragic but others are celebrating I feel that the hanging was cruel but he was a terrible man he did allot of horrible things and kept his people hungry and starving when he has a gold thrown but hangings are always cruel but he did allot of bad things and I wish he would have ask the lord for forgiveness but his soul is with Satan and the basic point is He killed so many and finally he has been punished.

No better. I was wondering why I suffered from insomnia that night, only got to sleep around 3.30... I learnt later that the execution took place at 3. Humans playing God do not make me feel good. Evil is as much at work now as it was before the hanging.

Even though he was a horrible, horrible man, I still feel a wee bit sad for him. I believe in an afterlife and where he is going not good. And what gives us the right to kill him? No matter what you do, you shouldn't be killed for it. I know you all will prolly totally disagree with my feelings. But that just how I feel. Take it or leave it.

He deserved it, he was a bad man. But I dont agree with the way they killed him (hanging), instead they should have just done the electric chair, but in a way I dont care. Hussein is dead, and he deserved it after him being so cruel and the destruction of his country. I'm glad he's dead.

Very disturbed. I dont agree with the death penalty. I'm not surprised he died under Iraqi justice as that is a screwed up country with screwed up people. What surprises me and greatly disturbs me is US and UK political leaders suporting it and saying justice was done. They are supposed to be Christian countries. That was not a Christian thing to do. I'm really pleased the Vatican has condemned it.

No justice... No peace.

Saddam's death does not bring me joy. It envokes feelings of sadness. Sadness for his family, for his friends for his supporters and for those who are fighting in Iraq.

This just goes to prove that they are fighting a war that was imaginary, made up and cannot be won.

Interesting question... makes me wonder how YOU feel... I am glad it is over...I worried that the trial would be fixed, the judges would all be killed, or someone would let him escape. I am surprised to hear how many people already thought he was dead.
