Why do sports owner pay so much money?

They want a winning team but sometimes spending the big bucks isn't the answer...........I'm a true blue NY Yankee fan and it hasn't been working well here.........They feel buying the players they feel are tops will make that winning team but sometimes more has to be taken into consideration........I'm not against them buying a winning team at all or improving a team by spending the bucks as a lot of people are........My husband always said you don't have to be a Rocket Scientist to play baseball.......See Ball - Hit Ball...........CAT
