Read in the order....Symbol || Element || Colour of the flame

B Boron Bright Green
Ba Barium Apple green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (non-halide) Emerald green
Cu(II) Copper(II) (halide) Blue-green (bluish green)
P Phosphorus Pale bluish green
Pb Lead Pale green
Sb Antimony Pale green
Te Tellurium Pale green
Tl Thallium Pure green
Zn Zinc Bluish green

Although from the view of lab experiments:
BORON, BARIUM,COPPER(all ions), ZINC are THE most important.

I should congratulate with SOM who enlists all the elements which exibit green hue at "flame test" of cations.

But....I think not this list might aid who lie the present question.
Usually, in the lab's activities, the chemistry's teacher submit three types of compound who show the behaviour described :

i) Cu(II) salts;
ii) Ba(II) salts;
iii) borates, generally alkalines.

Can you distinguish between them? Yes...how can you do it?
Copper's flame shows a blue-green hue, with permanent character...Permanent behaviour concerns borate's flame even, but their hue is decidely paler than copper one. Finally, barium's flame appears discontinuous by luminous sparks.
Classical execution fo flame's test remarks hard other green colorations.

I think these informations may aid you.

copper compounds (except halides), thallium, tellurium
Calcium compounds viewed through blue or green glass will appear green.

(barium gives a green borax bead test, not a green flame test)
