I can cope with my computer - & can type 90 words per minute but i just CANNOT work my simple Nokia pay as you go phone. I've tried to understand the handbook - but there is so much to learn it's making me depressed. Is there any easy way? You will guess from this question I'm not young any more!!!

it should have come with a quick guide leaflet telling you the basics to get you started. nokias are all the same generally, so have a look on google somewhere or the nokia website for some handy tips!
generally, to navigate just press the most central button at the top of the keypad and it should take you to the menu, then use the indicated buttons to browse through those. good luck! xx

I am not young and have not been for a long time but use computer, digital camera and mobile phone the way I did VCR and DVDs - learn one thing at a time and not worry about it all at once. My cell phone fist step was putting names to be called automatically so will not have to remember the no's and then next step was switch from call to call, etc. Just take your time, where else are you going? Before you realize it will know at least enough to enjoy the phone. You get depressed because want to learn it all at once - learn it in your own time with nothing but felling good about what you have accomplished.

Try to master one thing at a time. Read the instructions out loud to yourself and follow them step by step. Keep at the same thing until you master it. Sometimes you think that the instructions must be wrong, but they`re not, make it a stage by stage thing and you`ll get there in the end.
