The Jon Benet Ramsey school of modeling will help your child develop those talents that attract molesters and child pornographers.

If there are modeling agencies in your area, send regular snapshot pictures of your child and see what happens. New York is the best place to find legitimate agencies (in America) but other states like Boston have good agencies for children. Just be careful of modeling schools that ask you to pay $500 - $1,000 for "training." I only know of one Barbizon school that is legitimate and gets aspiring models real work after they pay the high fees. Most modeling schools make their money from charging fees, not by getting work for their clients and taking a percentage. Also make sure it's something your child wants to do. When children are bashful or not interested in modeling but the parent wants to get them into modeling, it's a nightmare for the teams who work with the child on jobs (if the child gets that far in the business) and the kid is resentful. Outgoing, (but well mannered) children who take direction well and are respectful make the best models. Good luck.

Go to the same places Jon Benet went. Of course it will also attract predators, but seeing you want to get your child in modeling, seems like you won't really care that much. I wouldn't do that if I were you. If your child wants to be a model really young you shouldn't let her. But if your that needy, I guess yo can do it with the consiquinces that come along with it.

Look in your Yellow pages for modeling agencies, and pick one that has been approved by your state board of regents. That means they are a legitimate company who operates in your state.
Your only cost should be for the pictures (composites ) of your child. It should be 81/2 by 11 paper, black and white, with your child's name on the back, with height, weight, waist size, shoe size, information used for a photo shoot for the photographer's assistants . Agents usually take 20% of your session.

I would be very careful of doing that. Every mom thinks that their kids are beautiful. Dont use a fly by night agency. Try local modling agencies. Just make sure that you allow your child to have a childhood.

look up the local pageants, but make sure she wants to do it. modeling is alot of work and is hard on ur child its time consuming and remember you still want ur to have a fulfilling childhood or else he or she will turn out like Brittany spears or Michael Jackson...scary huh? well i would go to the yellow pages or google local pageants near ur area. good luck!
