Is there a way to set the Verizon Chocolate (LG VX-8500) to use an MP3 as a ringtone?

im pretty sure that you can do it. like you can do it if you buy the mp3 from the verizon's music vcast thing. you cant do it with your own music, i think. thats whats stupid about it. I just bought my chocolate at http://www.doiop.com/chocolor and I bought a song from the vcast music and i coudl apply as ringtone.

Because of Verizon's standard software they use on ALL their phones, you must either buy music through V Cast or find a way around their system which I'm still trying to find. It makes absolutely no sense for us but for them they want "more money". Sorry, wish I could do more for ya!

There is one website I found where you can store the file online and you just download the song... it's free, just charges you get through data transfer.
