No. If it's formal, you'll look like a stupid drunk and probably have ruined your reputation, too... have a limit. At an informal one, wait until one person gets drunk, then you can have your chance.

It depends on if at the formal party how many people know you and will make your life miserable for doing it.In reality there is no real excuse for getting so drunk that you make a fool out of yourself unless you enjoy ridicule and not being invited to any other parties.All that went out in the 80's.Enjoying yourself and partying in moderation is the way to do things these days.If I was having a New Years party I would be hesitant about inviting people who's only goal is to get drunk and make a fool of themselves and risk them ruining the other guests enjoyment.

You can, but it's not a good idea. You will be much less popular wasted at a formal. Screw the formal party, hang with some informal friends and drink tequila. Makes for a great night, but a bad morning.

It is MOST important to get drunk at a formal party.
As the party drunk it will be your job to dance to music that isn't playing, tell people whom you are only aquantances that they are sexy. And most importantly fall alot!
New Years without a party drunk is like Halloween without the Jack-o-lantern

No ergo the word formal You have to hold on to some decorum. Have a good time but dont get sloppy. When you get home if you want get drunk by some champale.

At a formal one you would be drinking "drinkie-poos" so to get there in a hurry go with Martinis because they are 100% alcohol with no hidden soft drinks or juices to water them down. You can toss the olive so you don't fill up your stomach with alcohol absorbing materials. Cheers...bottoms up!

Sure you can. Dragon doesn't usually get drunk, cuz it's so much fun to watch drunk and stupid peeple when you are sober. If she is drinking, she likes sweet drinks that taste nummy.
