My internet is high speed and works accordingly but when I type an email , do a search or anything that requires typing something it doesn't keep up with me. I can type a letter in Word or do a spread sheet in Excel and the curser is right there as I type each letter or symbol. What do I need to do to fix this? It is very annoying!!!

Yup, you've likely acquired a keylogger that's using your internet connection to transmit data as you type it in.

Download some antispyware software and run a full system scan with your antivirus software.

Something is running in the background using all your resources. Check your computer for viruses or spyware.

Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from Trendmicro. When I have tested it it takes some time to run it but it may be time well spent if it can fix any problems.

Download and run http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php

it could be that spyware is causeing ur browser to drastically slow down. make sure to run spybot and see if it finds anything. delete the items accordingly. i also highly recomend the use of firefox rather than ie as it is far more secure and suffers from less sypware/adware problems. i would also run an antivirus such as avg to make sure no viruses are present.
