Every time I use my cellphone near a TV, or especially computer speakers, they speakers get this static interference, even when theres no sound coming from them otherwise. What about cellphone activity makes the signals interfere?

the membrane of the speaker is reacting to any elecromagnetic signal it catches. it can come from your stereo (and then u get music) or from the outside (and u get phunny noise).
think curtains: a blow of air will move them when u forget the windos open or when u turn on your ventilator pretty much the same way. they don't know any better.

This is also why solar flares, lightning from storms, and even the Northern Lights can affect the electronic equipment you have.
