If you mean announced yes every major news site including Yahoo News has it on its cover. If you mean the detail of his demise or a recording of the actual execution - No - that would be inconsiderate of his children and family. Although he may not have been a good man in the eyes of the world at large he was a good man to those who loved him and they should not have the image of his death posted to the globe.

the news reports have stated that the hanging has taken place. I am just wondering if this is true or not. If it is true, why do they just show the video of the noose going around his neck? Why is there no video of the actual hanging? Do you remember the videos of several AMERICANS being beheaded? If those videos can be shown, WHY not show Saddam being hanged?
I have been told that the video is on LIMEWIRE.... I have NOT been there to see, so I can't confirm that.

However, by the time I got there, the posting had been removed.
For the record, an execution of a prisoner after a trial is not a "murder." This man got more due process than any of the 1,000,000 people who died as a result of his orders.

i think of that I straddle the fence in this one simply by fact on the only hand Saddam did very hideous issues to his very own human beings and could have been punished for them. on the different hand I observed this broken old guy who no longer had any power or posed a wager to every physique. i think of like all different butcher milosovic he might finally have died in detention center and that i could have been pleased with that.
