Whether or not you support the death penalty, you should realize that the rush to execute Sadaam has deprived many of his victims the chance to have their stories told. In my view, this is a great injustice to them.

There is nothing wrong with him being gone, But he's just that gone, I find it interesting that the verdict was so swift and fast, If I may say, where as those criminals here in the US they tend to Set on Death Row forever. As far as the execution of Saddam he I guess got what was coming to him, An "Eye for an Eye" And NO! It has not changed my view of the death penalty. I just wish 911 never had happened and I wish ALL the Troops in this so called War will END, And my heart goes out to EACH Person who has LOST their loved one in this War,

It doesn't change my views at all. If this isn't the appropriate use of the death penalty, I don't know what is.
This (Saddam) is a person who killed millions for his own personal political purpose. Many of his victims were tortured and murdered systematically.
Yes, it is somewhat contradictory to punish a person who killed by killing him, but, us being human, there isn't any better way to punish someone for ultimate crime. He and some people may believe in after-life, but for us living in present life, he is no longer a threat. Life sentence won't fix anything as someone as influential and powerful as he, he can certainly still be active behind bars, and he will continue to be a danger.
..... and THAT is my personal opinion.

The prosecution grow to be allowed to go into into data a pair of Shorts worn by utilising Davis the night of the homicide that have been blood stained. interior the unique path the shorts have been excluded simply by fact police did no longer have a seek warrent while they retrieved the shorts from his mom's homestead, even nonetheless she consented to the quest. i do no longer understand for a certainty if he grow to be in charge or no longer yet i would not presume to appreciate greater effective than all the juries, attorneys, and judges who reviewed each factor of this difficulty over the final couple of a protracted time.

No. It seemed very swift and decided regardless of appeals. That is the affairs of the Iraqi government and its laws. However, I believe that the US government should reexamine the flaws in its own death penalty system.

It's not going to change anything. Many Iraqi's are gonna die along not us in the west. Suicide bombers and loyalist are going to revenge killing scores of people . So what's the point? Why must more people die because of this man? NOBODY ! NOBODY should be treated like that for whatsoever reason. LET GOD BE THE JUDGE.

Absolutely not, I don't think that capital punishment is wrong, and I don't know of anybody more deserving than Saddam.

My opinion may differ than yours or anyones else, thats why its MY opinion, but i do have to say this. Its good thatthe world is free of one evil person, but it is stupid to punish someone by killing them if thats what they are eing punished for. Than what is the lesson learned. basicall you are saying "you are evil, you murderer,, so0o0 now i will kill you" is it not one of the ten commandments "thy shall not kill" If you agree with me add a double star with your name on the bottom of your post, i may sart a petition
