Hi, my four wheeler is running fine, but there is a lot of "smoke" coming out of the exhaust pipe. Any ideas on how I can make it run "cleaner"? Thanks!

A 2-stroke will smoke due to the oil mixed with the fuel but you can minimize it by using less oil in the mix. This will require disabling the oil injection and mixing the gas/oil yourself prior to filling the fuel tank. Changing the oil/fuel ratio will affect the tuning a little. Lowering the oil content in the same volume of pre-mix fuel means more gasoline is now in there, and the machine runs more rich.

Most 2-stroke bike manufacturers recommend about 32:1 gas-to-oil mix ratio for off-road 2 strokes. 24:1 is more oil, and 40:1 is less oil. Instructions for doing this are on the side of any 2-stroke oil bottle you'll buy.

A 4 wheeled street quad could probably would desire to fulfill automobile secure practices standards, even though it differs from state to state. i'd desire to make certain slipping one in below "selfmade dune buggy" standards if the owner changed it, yet attempting to construct a street legal quad may well be something the government could evaluate an attempt to construct a automobile that would not meet crash standards. In maximum states, basically autos with 3 or fewer wheels may well be licenses as a bike (the different unusual "outrigger" bike kits may well be an exception), so a quad would not be judged via bike regulations.

If it`s a two-stroke it`s normal. If it is a four stroke your motor needs an overhaul.Other options could be oil in gas,or to light oil in crankcase.

It's 10 years old. I'd have to say it's time for a top end rebuild (cylinder repair, piston & rings).
