Only people that are not too bright would think this! Most people know that the Capitol Building is not the White House.

Yes, I've definitely run into people who think this, and I can see why they'd make the mistake. The White House is more well-known than the Capitol building.

I would hope that everyone knows that they are two separate buildings. The US capitol is where congress meets and the white house is where the President lives.

Yes.infact when I was 10 there was a study guide to a test that said the capital of VA is The White house

Y E S, I have met some of these people and I think it is
the result of the liberal, revisionist education system in the
