I am getting sick all day long I'm not throwing up all day long but I'm nauseated I'm worried because my boss is being a total jerk about it and making comments and a close worker employee friend of mine said that my boss has been saying that I may be let go because of it. Isn't that against the law? What can I do to protect myself I may lose my job and it's hard because I'm pregnant and need the money!

During my 1st pregnancy, I had 24 hour morning sickness for 6 months. I mean I vomited all day long. I was prescribed an anti-nausea pill from my doctor. It kind of worked. My advice, discuss this issue with your doctor and stay hydrated.

It is against the law for the boss to fire you because you are pregnant... But that is not why you would be let go. He is not saying you can't work there because of the pregnancy. He is saying the sickness is interfering with your work. And since you can't do the job you were hired to do, they can (legally) let you go.

Talk to your Dr. There are medications that can help with morning/all day sickness.

Good Luck!

really you got to look it at the employers perspective he's hired you for you to do the work, and if your sick all the time, why doesn't he find another person thats not as sick and will show up for work every day on time with no excuses. Go see your doctor about getting a pill called diclectin, it helps with nausea and works wonders, this way you can keep your job. ut remember, your employer can fire you for you NOT doing the work, but he can't let you go because your pregnate. those are 2 different excuses and sorta a loop hole for him.

They can't fire you for being pregnant, but I don't think they need to keep you on if you aren't doing your job.
