When do the symptoms start to fade and does anyone have any tips to quiet the child when they are sleeping (I think it is intefering with his deep sleep)??

They did the corrective surgery because of "failure to thrive". Because of the condition he had trouble with asperation (breathing in fluids while eating) and reflux and he was not gaining weight as he should because he did not like to eat. They only operate on approx 5% of all cases.

If your son is experiencing aspiration and GERD, his lungs are at high risk for pneumonia. Take him back to the pulmonologist who did the bronchoscopy and get the issue of the sleeping problem addressed.
You may want to consider the insertion of a feeding tube which goes through the abdominal wall into the duodenum, at least until he recovers from the laryngomalacia. A pediatric gastroenterologist can advise you.

Yes my daughter has it I just move her around until she sounds better My daughter is 4 months and it is slightly better but it can take up to 1 year.

IF you dont mind me asking why did they do corrective surgery they wouldnt do it on my daughter.

i have 3 kids but none of them have that.
