I would like to make experiences abroad (Scotland). Are there any job chances for foreigners who don't speak English very well? I would like to work in Edinburgh at first. Can you recommend me something? Thank you!

@beanco: Thanks! :-) My English isn't bad but I think it's not good enough. Perhaps it has something to do with few self-confidence? ;-)

I know quite a few places in that take on poor english speaking foreigners. But if you wrote your question yourself, there is nothing wrong with your english. Its better than alot of english speaking people. Anyway, they mostly work in the hospitality industry

No problem bizzywizz - your confidence will grow

If I were you, I'd first join an internet group of people from your country that are already living different places around the world and then find where many of those people are living in Edinburgh. Then get to know that neighborhood in Edinburgh and some of the people that live there. Search for jobs near that neighborhood and religious groups you may belong to. Contact social groups that live there etc. and write letters asking for job references and apartment houses.

Having worked for an employment agency for a number of years I would recommend the sex industry.

Failing that I believe you could join the Edinburgh film festival as a stunt man/woman.

Failing that please be aware of strange people who imply that scotland is anyway connected to England. This is not only false but liable to make you remove your underwear and wear skirts , drink too much and swear/talk in a manner that no-one with human characteristics could ever possibly hope to comprehend.

I'm sure there's plenty in your own country. We've got enough Paki's, Romanians, Poles, Kurds, Albanians etc who don't have the manners to learn the language of the country they've chosen to live in (sponge off). So stay where you are, we don't want you.
