It depends on the size of the plane:
Boeing 737-700: 26 lanes that's two compartments per lane, equals 52, two leprechauns per compartment that's 104 leprechauns.
Airbus 320: 30 lanes, 2 compartments per lane, equals 60, 2 leprechauns per compartment, that's 120 leprechauns.

I suggest you go with the Airbus. If you are traveling on Business class that's four more leprechauns, cause the bins there are roomier.

as many as fit into one carry on and a purse ... that is of course if they aren't retaining water because liquids are no longer allowed.

maybe three but u could stick some in your suitcase but remember to feed them once a day an wash under there ears

2 is all they let you bring. I tried with 3 and they made me leave one at Miami International....
