Whats a better way to go when installing memory? I would like to upgrade my memory to about 1GB. My question is should I get a 1GB memory stick or 2 512MB sticks? Thanks

That depends on your pc and what is in there now. If you have 512 already there, then add another 512. It most likely costs less to do one stick of 512 than a 1 GB stick. If you can find that the 1 GB stick is cheaper do that. You should be able to keep what you have and add to it, unless your motherboard limits you to 1 GB for total ram. (then you would want to put 2 512s in there.)

I would just go with one stick. The more things you add, the more chances of something going wrong with one of them.
