Ask the author of the novel it was based on. Their really isn't anything funny or weird about it. Maybe you're not openminded enough to accept a different type of title.

Sounds like reading some underground pharmaceutical barcodes-or maybe it's the way they scanned the film reel in a dodgy dark room!
