I'm not angry. When the democrats start to tax people and go back to their old ways the voters will remember why we voted them out in the early 90's.

You people are so laughable. You should say why are Republicans angry about the elections, because conservatives won those offices in a vast majority. Those democrats you liberals so desperately cling to as your 1 victory in the senate in the last 16 years are more conservative than many Republicans, yet you celebrate this as a victory for liberalism. This country is still very much conservative, liberals are the fringe.

What do you know of Democracy? Please explain why you think Conservatives fear Democracy. You can't can you? Its just some blanket slur wrapped in the form of a question. What conservatives fear is that now one branch of our government is ostensibly controlled by a party that is more interested in partisan politics than it is in running a country. What most liberals horribly fail to understand is their politics are simple anti-conservative ideals, there is nothing except maybe extreme environmentalism that liberals stand for that is not just opposition to conservative ideas. You grabbed hold of the abortion issue just to show oppostion to the conservative right. Like all your politics they are chosen not created. Far right religious zealots want to abolish abortion for very legitimate reasons and you bring us a women should be able to chose what to do with her body, Thats not an idea its just opposition. But I have digressed too much.

Finally, what is this Neoconservative label you throw around? It doesn't mean anything. Or is it your witty attempt to call conservatives Neo-Nazis. Neo means new, moron, so I guess you are saying only new conservatives don't want a democrat legislature.

Ummmmm, what brings that on.... I am not liberal Or conservative, I like the middle ground... :-) Give details and FACTS.....

Totally agree with the previous poster... I am in the middle but do not support abortion. Baby killing is not an issue you want to debate with a mommy that took years to get pregnant and then was told it would be at the best to terminate the pregnancy.... Hmmmmm, did I listen??? My daughter is now 15 months and is very advanced for her age....

Yes I am a stay at home mom and it is the most important position I have ever had. She would not be as advanced or happy if she had to go to daycare for ten hours a day...

thanks for not directly bashing neocons as they stupidly do the liberals.

neocons are upset because they hold a false dichotomy of ideology and can not relate things in a bi-partisan way. keeping up dichotomies makes one create a very narrow and tunnel vision. It allows one to think that if it is not their way, it will not work. Such is not that case. If we could all start living in the shades of grey, this world/ country would be a better place.

Also cons HATE HATE HATE with a mad passion, anyone that isnt a radical right wing looney. The new congress is moderate and cons despise that. But cons despise pretty mucheverything so nobody takes their lunacy seriously

Although I appreciate your effort to post a non-Saddam question, this is out of left field...

It will be the liberals screaming, when they see how conservative the new Congress really is.

Because Bush's "mandate from the people" turned out to be an illusionary dream and all their scare-mongering tactics failed to sway enough people.
