She died during the Bewitched season and in 1968 was posthumously awarded the Emmy for her supporting role as Aunt Clara which was received on her behalf by Elizabeth Montgomery (no relation in real life though). However, Marion Lorne (MacDougall) was in the following before Bewitched:
The Graduate (1967) .... Miss DeWitte

"The Garry Moore Show" (1958) TV Series .... Regular (unknown episodes)
"The DuPont Show of the Month" .... Veta Louise Simmons (1 episode)
("Suspicion" .... Mrs. Foster (1 episode, 1958)
"Sally" .... Myrtle Banford (2 episodes, 1957)
The Girl Rush (1955) .... Aunt Clara
"Mister Peepers" .... Mrs. Gurney / ... (17 episodes, 1952-1953)
-Strangers on a Train (1951) .... Mrs. Anthony

She also appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train (1951) and The Graduate. She also appeared in a 1950s sitcom, Mr. Peepers.

Related to Elizabeth?? Never heard that one.
But, she DID have a brief appearance in the 1967 movie "The Graduate" along side Alice Ghostly.
