I say good. I'm glad that scum bastard is dead. I only wish I could of been the one to tie him up and push him down. He killed hundred of thousands Iraqis, and gased how many Kurds?
For some reason, most people in the U.S are upset about this. If you drive your car and accidently kill someone, you spend life in jail or, if you're unlucky, get sentenced to death. Most people have no compassion for anyone else but themself. If he killed thousands of Americans, like Osama, we'd all be happy to see him dead. But he didn't bother us so therefore we don't care. It's sad really.
Just look how happy Iraqis are right now, is that not enough? Now they can talk without the fear of being killed. They can go outside and not have to worry about watchign their step.

Well I'm no big politician but i think a life imprisonment would have served him right. I don't believe taking somebody's life's a good thing- even the one like Saddam's. And I'm sorry as the execution was carried on a festive day for all the muslims. If they had to kill him why not a day or two later??

Hi, i dont think they should of hung him as no one has the right to take another persons life, but he did need punishing for what he has done. Anyways it has happend now, if it was real. But if there is a hell im sure he has gone there. i did feel a bit sorry for him because of the look on his face but i just imagine the faces on the people he has killed. Then think of what he has done. But surely prison was bad enough for him and he was old.
I wouldnt say he looked sorry for the thousands of deaths he is responsible for, more scared his own life was about to end

Saddam got what he deserved. His death was filmed to prove he was executed. Don't forget this scumbag and his two sons would film people being tortured and murdered so they could sit and watch later for 'entertainment'. Don't feel sorry for him.
Anyway, lets hope it sends out a message to other tyrants who think they can behave the same way. Mugabe, be warned.

It was very convenient for the US, which used him as its tool in the Iran-Iraq War, and which armed him with the very nerve gas he used against the Kurds. You can easily find pics of him and Rumsfeld greeting each other very warmly. He was conveniently tried on charges that did not involve the US so that no testimony about American involvement in his crimes would come out. Like everything else about the Iraq War, this execution was done in total utter absolute cynicism. No, he was not a nice guy, but unfortunately it is clear from recent history that a heavy hand was necessary to keep Iraq from fracturing like it now has, giving Iran supreme power over the middle east.

He must be in hell, as he caused the deaths of several people. Even then, he should have been given the chance to appeal to all the higher courts before execution. Killing him in such a brutal way on Eid day was wrong. They could have waited for another two days.

Rather feel sorry for the families of all those he murdered. As for hell, well let God be the judge of that one.

just think its too bad he had only one life to give.. sad that he cant be hung over and over again. yes i think he is in hell and no i dont think he was the least sorry for what he had done. its good your heart is still tender but remember this is a very evil person who has murdered thousands then hid like a coward in a hole when confronted .

many people have their own opinions, why should a man be executed yes he has killed many innocent people, but what is the sense of doing this, does he feel the pain for those people he suffered. whats going to happen to the people who are for saddam do you think they might take revenge on people who agree with his killing. iraq is an unstable atmosphere, and i think it's going to get worse in a couple of years. you cant turn back the hand of time.

I think he was sorry for the deaths only because he was caught and his own life being taken from him. Only God knows if he is in hell. I also think the violence and terrorism is now going to go to an all time high for a while.
