It's arbitrary could be any day of the week.Robert Smith is always in love. I was a huge cure fan, This song represented the beginning of the end for me. I like the little gurgling and cooing type squeals in the background. They ooze love and enthusiasm. He makes similar sounds on a lot of their songs, but in this case, it was the only thing that made it listenable.
