All birds sing actually even wild ones in fact the one that frequent our yard in spring and summer sing more than the caged ones in my house. But it's because that is what birds do to communicate.

My canary is singing away .. he has food, water and shelter and he is warm. The birds outside are freezing their tails off its 29 degrees.. of course he is happy!
