In the original Iraqi Constitution, execution should not take place on a holly day. Saddam Hussein changed that article in the constitution and it was amended to be able to execute anyone at any day in the year and he went along killing so many people publically... Yesterday was Arafa Day, and Today is Eid, a very VERY holly days in Islam, and Saddam was executed publically. KARMA!
PLUS... A video grab taken from al-Iraqiya television shows ousted Iraq president Saddam Hussein moments before being hanged in Baghdad. Saddam was hanged inside one of his former torture centres in the final act of a brutal 30-year tragedy that left the stage strewn with tens of thousands of corpses. And again I say KARMA!
I believe this is Karma! Saddam Hussein brought upon himself inevitable, bad, results. It is the cosmic principle that is taking its action. Each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation. Its his fate/destiny.
Congratulations! AT LAST... The world is free from Saddam Hussein!!!
Rest In Hell Saddam in the Garbage of History!!

What? Excuse me, have you not read Saddam's history in Iraq? Are you living under a veil of ignorance? So Saddam died a martyr? Did big bad Bush, also make him kill and terrorize his OWN people?
I understand you may not agree with the war, I honestly respect that, I don't like it either, but please do not rearrange things in such a contorted way.
REALITY: SADDAM WAS AN EVIL MAN, IRAQIS ARE BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM. There's a reason why they were so happy to see him hung.
Now, will they be better of when the US leaves, I hope so. They deserve their own country back, however, do realize these people must be helped along the way. It would be sad, if they fell into the rule of another "Saddam". (Insert your, they will be a US puppet allegations here).
I will not defend the war, but I will defend the Iraqi people, and the US soldiers. So do not come here and act like this man is innocent.
God bless you.
PS. Dislike Bush all you want, but do not forget Saddam's wrong doings, in your hatred for Bush.

Blah friggin' blah. News flash: The United States did NOT hang the man. The Iraqi goverment tried Saddam, found him guilty of crimes against humanity and (shocker!) sentenced him to death. All the U.S did was catch the little bugger. Declaring war on a country is NOT a crime. Another news flash, the president cannot soley decide if our country declares war. There's a teeny weeny little thing called CONGRESS. Only Congress can declare war. Seriously, some of you Bush haters need to go back to 3rd grade social studies class. All you do is jump on the hate bandwagon because you think it's cool. I highly doubt any of you non typing fools could be in charge of remembering your Yahoo password let alone run a country. Instead of being such whiny babies, why not join the Peace Corp and help people out. I guess that would mean getting off your butt and not typing non sensical, hate filled crap on Yahoo Answers though. Who knows, they might let you bring along a lap top.

finding on the numerous previous solutions jogs my memory that people who shout loudest have the least to assert and the main to conceal. The Iraqis that Saddam killed have been many times killed with the conivance and appoval of england and usa, no longer that Britain has had an self sufficient voice for years, and we killed many with the sanctions we imposed on Iraq, which the politicians knew and probably was hoping may well be the case, so as that they could portray what were their murderous tyrant as now an self sufficient murderous tyrant. attempt finding at the back of the headlines, a number of you.

Oh yeah...Hussein, such an innocent. Too bad we picked him up when he could have murdered a couple hundred thousand more INNOCENT men, women, and children. Bunch of sissy libs! It's fascinating to see people whine for a genocidal maniac, yet you cheer those who champion the cause for murdering innocent children still in the womb. How about you head on over their and lobby for the killers while the Middle East prepares to become the world's largest microwave oven!

You are so right. But Americans only see what they show us . America made Sadaam and many other communists that ruled with an iron fist over the last century. Our beloved america is only a "state of emergency" away from being a dictatorship. So all you Bush supporters wake the hell up out of your slumber, climb out of cave and see the real terrorists. Cia, and the President

I think George Bush is the same criminal as Hussein, he had committed crimes that are punished by the Nuremberg trial. Destroying Afghanistan, provoking a civil war in Iraq and supporting the murder of Israel over Lebanon.

Have you ever heard the expression "War is Hell". Both sides end up killing innocent people in error. As for Saddam, you are wrong, that man is pure evil.
