Considering what most parents subjest their children to (with all the sex and fighting) this has to be a way better choice, But I haven't seen the show your talking about, but it seems child friendly....am I right?

Ivor the Engine. Trap Door is fun but the language is a little less gentle (they 'bonk' things that come out of the trap door and have 'scunge' fights). The Clangers is good of course and the library will have lots! Interesting looking back at the old ones, Ivor is really gentle and uses rich vocabulary, not at all like the current array, although Todds world has good use of language.
