O.k. I'm going to point out the actual facts in this debacle!

1. The American and British governments supported Saddam in the 80's, with weapons supplies and finance to support then in the Iran war and other political reasons!

2. The U.N. and N.A.T.O. invaded Iraq in the early 90's! Because Kuwait was invaded by Iraq! (My opinion 1st hand, is Job not done! And if it wasn't because of oil being in Kuwait, and Kuwait being a strategic port in the Gulf, Allied forces wouldn't have gone at all!)

3. The 1st Gulf War is still being paid for in costs to the Tax payer!

4. the U.S. and U.K. continue for the next 10-11 years at Tax payers expense, to get Saddam ousted from power! Along the way coming up with W.M.D.!

5. The Towers are targeted (Rest there Souls)

6. Mr Bush vows revenge!

7. We are led to War because of Oil and Regime Change, not because Saddam killed 180 people in Dujail! We are led to War on Lies of WMD!

** PLEASE AWAIT! ADDING DETAILS NO ROOM LEFT**

8. Allies Invade!

9. U.S. and Allies set up the new Iraq Elections!

10. A form of democracy in Iraq! Elected Government!

11. Saddam on Trial in Iraqi court! With America and the Allies breathing down there necks! And Poking them basically with a big stick!

12. Iraq????/ Hangs Saddam!

So ok i shortened events a bit! But this is what has happened! So if Iraq has hung Saddam... then if the U.S. and Allied forces where not in attendance in Iraq, would Saddam have been hung at all? I think not!

This is such a Hot subject! I for one think it was the West that hung saddam!

2006-12-30 03:14:01 · update #1

Hey don't give me a hard time! I do not say he should not have hung!

What I state is! Saddam has hung because of a revenge attack, after an assasination attempt! He was reponsible for many hundreds of thousands of deaths over 30 years or so!

Since the 1st Gulf War 800.000 plus Iraqi's have been killed because of the 2 invasions! As a DIRECT LINK to U.S. and Allied Invasion!

Personally I think a touch of POLONIUM poisoning or similar would have done the Job! Rather than thousands suffer for a War on lies, and not the real reasons of Saddams brutality! Lets also not forget, even though we have people celebrating in the streets, many of these Iraqi civvies worshipped Saddam as a God!

Oh going back to Mr Bush and Stating publically on TV is wanted revenge! I can't help but think, them are the very reasons they just put Saddam on trial for!

So went are we going to get Bush and Blair into the Iraqi Courts? As Bush in particular has stated this is in some way retribution!

In the original Iraqi Constitution, execution should not take place on a holly day. Saddam Hussein changed that article in the constitution and it was amended to be able to execute anyone at any day in the year and he went along killing so many people publically... Yesterday was Arafa Day, and Today is Eid, a very VERY holly days in Islam, and Saddam was executed publically. KARMA!

PLUS... A video grab taken from al-Iraqiya television shows ousted Iraq president Saddam Hussein moments before being hanged in Baghdad. Saddam was hanged inside one of his former torture centres in the final act of a brutal 30-year tragedy that left the stage strewn with tens of thousands of corpses. And again I say KARMA!

I believe this is Karma! Saddam Hussein brought upon himself inevitable, bad, results. It is the cosmic principle that is taking its action. Each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation. Its his fate/destiny.

Congratulations! AT LAST... The world is free from Saddam Hussein!!!

Iraq hung Saddam like the Jews crucified Jesus. They didn't! The Romans did! And the US hung Saddam. Personally, I don't think Saddam is like Jesus. But clearly our government didn't plan the appearances of this very well!

Good Call! Excellent debate. It is truly unfortunate that a great country like ours is only interested in how to make money for greedy politicians. We support whomever we can gain the most from when we want it. We continuously make ourselves look like a bunch a**holes!
God bless the U.S?

Without seeing your further details I agree with you, not a single Iraqi could have harmed Saddam without America's approval and I personally think the hooded people around him were Americans, how could they trust the Iraqi's on a job like this.

Go back to your hut and leave us alone. Should we feel sorry for a guy who tortured people Should we show once ounce of compassion for people who want American's dead because they are Americans. SHUT THE HECK UP and GO BACK TO YOUR HOLE. SO instead of spouting out your worthless babble, what is your question? Oh, you are too bent on yelling at me for something I have nothing to do then to ask a question, becuase that would take an ounce of thought and since you are not allowed free throught, becuase you would be excecuted for that you must spew your useless garbage at us. GO BACK IN YOUR WHOLE AND CHECK FOR WINTER IN FEBUARY.
