Yes because they lost a potentially good pitcher but at the same time no because they know that Boston won't be able to get many more good players with the money they spent on Matsuzaka. Also, they'll be really happy if Matsuzaka turns out worse than he is expected. However, they should hope Kei Igawa doesn't turn into Hideki Irabu.

No, I truly don't.
Irabu reason
I'm not saying the Matsuzaka will perform like Irabu, but the Yankees have been burned once

Did the yankees want Matsuzka, of course they did, they put in a bid..
Of course they are mad they didn't win it, and when they learned Boston got it, I can't imagine that disappointment/anger went down any.
Of course the Yankees are not happy about it, mad might be a bit far.
A few people mention Ibrau, what about Igawa? they got him..
Funny how Ibrau applies with Matsuzaka, but not Igawa...

Not at all. The Yankees were the 3rd highest bidder meaning they really weren't that interested. Matsuzaka still has to prove that he can pitch every 5th day and against the talent that the MLB has to offer day after day.

The Yankees are deep in experienced pitching again. They have got Pettite back. I think the Yankees are sitting pretty.

Why would the yankees be mad?
That doesnt make any sense.
The Yankees are not the team that spent over $100M
on a no name no body who has never pitched in Major League Baseball.

Yes and no. They probably wanted him but now if he ends up being a bust it is another thing they can hold against the Red Sox. Along with how much they are paying J.D. Drew.

Of course they are; they feel that they (the Yankees) have the rights to EVERY baseball player in the world. The also are delusional in thinking that every player WANTS to play for them. The Yankees and their fans are selfish S.O.B.'s!
