The girl from Single White Female was pretty crazy. Glen Close was good in Fatal Attraction. Michelle Phiefer as Catwoman was good too. The scairest one would have to be the little girl from The Ring.

My vote goes to: Cassandra Nova.
This is the "evil twin" of Professor Charles Xavier. She spent years plotting her revenge and when she finally attacked she goaded Emma Frost into breaking her neck, then switched minds/ body with Xavier, publicly outed him as a mutant (during great anti-mutant sentiment), she defeated the X-men and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, and was only defeated by being severed from Xavier's body and tricked into a goo-like mass (which was disguised as her body). She implanted part of her mind into Emma before this however and used Emma as a puppet to release the rest of her conciousness.

Rebecca of Daphne du Maurier's novel by the same name. She's dead and we never see her in the story, but her presence overwhelms us with terror. In fact the main character of the novel is never named, only emphasising the intensity of Rebecca's evil nature.
