i'm new to the computer but do know alot about it.i'm trying to install www.googleearth.com.i dont understand downloading.my computer is a dell and fairly new.do i need anything extra to do this,like a disk,ect?what is involved in doing this,or do i need more experience?thank you jimmy a

Downloading means transferring data and programs from a website to your computer.
I just downloaded a program with a size of 340MB yesterday, which took 4 hours. I have at another time downloaded a 118MB program in 19 minutes.

Downloading is getting the software from the internet, than installing is putting that software onto your computer for use.
