as far as abortion goes, don't approve of abortion on demand. Many Republicans like abortion, I'm a registered Democrat and I almost have the same views on abortion that Reagan and bush claim to have.

but, in the 26 years since Reagan was first elected, most of the time we had a republican president and we had a long time with a republican majority in congress. So many republican appointed people in the supreme court. Have there been any changes? no! The republicans don't give a crap about abortion, they just use it to get votes.

As far as Saddam hanging, I don't know. I wonder if Clinton will be hung for Waco and bombing civilians in retaliation for third world assassination attempts, if Bush senior will be hung for Iran contra and for CIA drug scandals, if Thatcher will be hung for supporting Pinochet.

What Junior did is made every Arab country want nuclear weapons, to keep America out. There are hundreds of tyrants in the world, most of them are US allies, but many are taking precautions now.

If they hanged him for gassing Kurds, I would not really have a problem with that. But hanging the man for killing a 100 or so of Shiites who attempted at his life is simply ridiculous. Let's now hang Clinton for Waco massacre.
Another thing is that it may turn out that the US would be much better off if Saddam was hanged only after the US troops left the country (this is a wild card, though).
