She's probably crying over the failure of her marriage, not so much her ex-spouse. Divorce leaves a woman feeling inadequate in many ways.....

I was divorced in May. I have met and become involved with the most wonderful man in the world, also. But from time to time, I do think about my ex. I think about how when we started out we had the best intentions, but life changes you. We wanted different things and it makes me very sad. It is hard for a person to admit to any kind of failure. And when a marriage breaks up it is painful. It causes you to look back some, as well as forward. My ex was not the nicest person in the world, and the divorce was quite ugly, but I will always feel like I failed somehow, because like I said, we tried. Its sort of like a death, I guess. And a person does go through something of a mourning process. It does not mean that they love their current partner less. It means they are looking at themselves more, really. Personally, I want to be with my new man for the rest of my life. I don't want to make the same mistakes again. Its all about learning as we grow. Dont take it personally. Life is so tough. Good luck.

I think she cries for all the pain, and hurt, she has caused her husband. The guilt is eating her alive, and the easiest way to try to mask it is to cry, and release the pressure a little. She knows she did wrong! Also, she is finding out, "the grass is not always greener".

I'm assuming that she was with him for a long time give her some time. Maybe it wasn't necessarily Him per say that she was crying over it could have been emotions for her children. I've cried on the phne with my ex before while dating someone else and wasn't over him it was because I felt bad for my daughter's feelings because he said he was going to pick her up but didn't. It hurts a child's feelings when their parent says their going to do something that they don't go through with.

You are trying to move on too soon my dear. It is not wise to jump right into a realtionship too soon after divorce. Let your hurts heal before you get anyone else involved. This new b/f is your rebound and it wont last.

Because she still has feelings for him, maybe even love him... but she knows it wouldn't work out. She just needs a minute to get it out of her system, and move on. Give her space and understand.

You are in un familiar territory. and still in your past. If your divorce is that recent I'd stay single for awhile and get to know yourself before trying to add someone new.

It takes time. Divorce doesn't mean all feelings are gone away. Someday hopefully they will be healed. Don't take it personally (if you are b/f).
