Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate New Years through fact the celebrations originate with worship of pagan gods. besides, new years is usually linked with heavy ingesting, something else that Jehovah's Witnesses do not take part in. As on your associates, this is a threat that they only had buddies over when you consider that human beings oftentimes have day off from paintings at New Years. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, i won't communicate for them, and all people could answer for his or her own movements.

My tradition of 35 years is to have a SAFE New Year by remaining at home and off the roads.

When my kids were little, I would take bags of balloons I had blown up & dump them in the yard at midnight. Each child would have a hat pin (at the appropriate age) and breaking the balloons was their "fireworks." When they became 10 or 12 yrs of age, the fun was watching them break the balloons by stepping on them.
