Well what do you mean by funny feeling? An etopic pregnancy is normally quite painful, and I am pretty sure you would know. Pregnancy is rife with all kinds of weird aches and twinges. Talk to your doctor if you are really concerned about it.

Funny feelings in your abdomin during the early stages of pregnancy is quite normal albeit very worrying. I've been pregnant twice and I still worried all the way through. You worry when you have niggles and then you worry when you don't. It's all part and parcel of pregnancy. As other posters have said already, ectopic pregnancy is incredibly painful and usually felt on one side. You would be very ill and I think you would just 'know it' Unfortunately my auntie had an ectopic pregnancy and she was really ill, in a great deal of pain and was taken to hospital as a an emergency. I think what you are experiencing is the abdomen stretching and getting ready for your tummy to expand and quite normal. I know it's difficult but try not to worry too much and try to enjoy this special time.

a lot of times women will have some minor cramping in their abdomen in the early stages of pregnance because your uterus is trying to shrink down to it's original size. In an eptopic pregancy you will have pain (REAL PAIN) on one side or the other and it more than likely would have presented itself by now because a 10 week pregnancy is generally too large for a fallopian tube to hold.

Eptopic pregnancies are usually characterised by very strong abdominal pain and spotting/bleeding. If you are worried you should see your doctor immediately and get an ultrasound. You really don't want to leave this to chance. You can also call NHS direct for more (profesisonal) advice.

an eptopic pregnancy is when the baby is growing outside of the fallopian tubes and if this was the case u would be in a lot of pain, through both of my pregnancies i had funny feelings in my abdomin all along but had no problems

I would almost guarantee that this is not an ectopic pregnancy. Most of the time by 4-8 wks an ectopic pregnancy is very obvious due to the pain that is involved. I had an ectopic pregnancy just before getting pg with my toddler. I was working allot and did not even know that I was pg, I just knew that the pain I had was not normal and by the time I went to the ER I could barely walk because of the pain. I was 6 wks by then and thankfully the tube was not destroyed. Trust me, if it was an ectopic pg then you would be doubling over with pain by ten weeks. Of course, that is just my experience, so to be safe call your OB just to have peace of mind!

Ectopic pregnancies do not get better. Usually there is intense pain, usually on one side of the lower abdomen. It is sharp and progressively gets worse. There is usually referred pain to the shoulder area. The pain increases, and the tube may actually rupture, which leads to bleeding and shock. "Funny Feeling" to me doesn't mean pain. You are probably feeling the uterus stretching and growing, sometimes there is even cramping. If the pain comes and goes and actually gets better, and there is no bleeding, you are probably ok. Try a heating pad or warm bath. If you are still concerned, go see your doctor.

i had that, feels like a stitch? like u'd been running too long? the doc's told me it were perfectly normal as it could just be the baby getting itself implanted still. v technical but nothing to worry about. either way get it checked. i got a scan and like u thought its was an eptopic pregnancy, when i saw the baby on the scan i just started blubbering!!!

well for the first few months in my pregnancy i had constant pains in my lower abdomin, starting with the right side then it moved over to the left, i was really worried and visited the doctor on many occasions to be told everything was fine, it could be that its just your body getting used to the changes that pregnancy brings, or maybe a slight urine infection? if its not painful and you have no bleeding i wouldn't imagine you have anything to worry about but to put your mind at ease maybe you should confirm everything is ok with your doctor? good luck and congrats x

It is a pregnancy where the fertilised egg gets stuck in the tube and starts to grow there. For some reason it does not finish its journey to the uterus. It can be very dangerous and painful.
