A difficult pregnancy is one that for whatever reason you are more sick, hospitalized during the pregnancy, or signs of preterm labor. It is often a label given to a high risk pregnancy that is a result of a physical or medical condition of the mom's. Every pregnancy has risks, but a difficult one is just one with more risks, or one that requires closer care from your Dr.

for me this preganncy is DIFFICULT in my eyes.
My DD all I ever had was 1 day of nausia.
I'm curently 21 weeks pregnant and since week 7 I have been nausiated. TO the point I can only eat carbs and crappy fast food. In the last month alone I have lost 8 pounds.
I had spotting early on. Week 7 and 10. at week 13 SEVER BLEEDING which resulted in emergency ultrasound to make sure all was ok.
Week 16 I got kicked in the stomach by a client and started sever cramping. AGAIN told if its a misscarriage theres nothing to stop it. I still cant eat. WHEN I HAVE an appitiete I cant eat anything AND FORCING FOOD into me makes me gag.
I Still have spotting once a week and cramping as well once a week.
I know others suffer from much worst. BUT when my plast pregnacy all I had to deal with was the worst/hottest summer on record.
I thought all my pregnancies would be like that.

This is just my opinion (I've been pregnant twice) but I think there's a difference btwn uncomfortable and difficult and the two should be distinguished. Given all the things that can go wrong, difficult to me would be something like having a problem that threatens the well-being of a baby (eg high blood pressure, gestational diabetes) and having to be on bed rest as a result. Also, having chronic sickness that requires you to stay home or be on medication would be "difficult". Issues like backaches, swollen legs(etc), trouble sleeping, bloating are more of a discomfort. It can be very tough and frustrating but you have to remember that it's not forever. If you can, for the most part, still carry on with your normal day to day activities (eg go to work), I would not consider that necessarily a difficult pregnancy. Hope that helps!

I am on my second difficult pregnancy. With both I have had EXTREME morning sickness... I have lost between 15 and 20 pounds each time. I have constant heartburn and migraines at least 4 times a week. The morning sickness gets so bad that I couldn't tell you how many times I've been to the hosoital for IV fluids. I've also had repeated bladder infections and have had to have two shots to stop early labor. I am 32 weeks right now but with the first one at least I had a very easy delivery.... I had an epidural right away and 6 hours later I only had to push once and the baby came out perfectly healthy.

this is a tough one!, Hmm i think that if you are unwell in anyway throughout your pregnancy "you" may think you have a difficult pregnancy. Like me, i've been quite sick, tired, had a few health problems throughout my pregnancy so i would say its been a bit of a rough time, but then my baby is completly healthy so i shouldn't complain, there are the woman out their who are seriously ill and their unborn baby could be seriously ill, i would define these cases as a difficult pregnancy.

Nausea and vomiting upon waking up in the morning or simply morning sickness (hyperemesis gravidarum)...Some has an increase in blood pressure during pregnancy (eclampsia)...Some has an increase in blood sugar induced during pregnancy(diabetes mellitus)...These are some terms associated with difficult pregnancy that could lead to some congenital defects to the baby..

Anything above and beyond a typical pregnancy: morning sickness, hormone fluctuations, etc. My mom likes to tell us how much she loved being pregnant...how she would have had 10 kids it was so easy (including the delivery). My friends however have had miserable experiences...ended up on steroids for rashes that would never disappear, had one side of their pelvis drop, but not the other so they had to walk with a limp the whole time, nonstop morning sickness (that didn't isolate itself to the morning)....and the worse - having the doctor tell you that there might be something wrong with the baby, and then having to wait two torturous weeks for the results...

how can you outline the time period "Intelligence"? ~~~ Intelligence; the potential to get the pastime performed, the potential to sparkling up issues. The more suitable the topic matters solved, the more suitable the 'intelligence'... and vice versa. Is Meditation linked with Intelligence? ~~~ not inevitably. Classical meditation is a 'thoughtless' state, a Zen state. frequently, 'intelligence' is touching on to 'idea'. Is Intelligence a achievable that all of us have, and that merely needs to be awakened? ~~~ in accordance to my definition, 'intelligence' is on a continuum, all of us is able to fixing issues, all of us is wise. Hiring the right human being potential matching the intelligence with the topic matters to be solved. will we advance our expertise with Intelligence? ~~~ we haven't any 'own expertise' to strengthen, even if we had some magical potential to regulate who we are (we do not) from second to second (all unique) at 'will', to make 'choises' (we do not). there is yet 'one' expertise. some moments/percepts there's a 'wider coated attitude' of attitude, some moments a lot less... All moments/percepts are actual and real useful factors of reality/the full Universe. on the different hand, we are able to easily 'experience' and 'imagine' as if we are the movers and shakers of the Universe.

How would you define the term "difficult pregnancy"?
One that has a lot of sicknesses and illnesses and stops you from doing day to day things. One that puts a lot of stress on your wellbeing and that of the baby.
