I especially like Mariella. Calianna is also very nice. I have never heard these two names before, but they are quite nice.

No to Mariella, it sounds so old fashion, the other one is okay though.

Not much. You may like the names but it will be hard on a child. No one will be able to spell their name, pronounce their name, etc. etc. Why do that to a child? And as the child blossoms and becomes a teenager, these are not very romantic names that men will write love poems about.

Names stay with a child for life and also have a profound effect on their personality as they grow up, and also how others view them.

I think these are beautiful names. They have a familiar feel (though I have never heard either name before), and yet they also feel fresh and new. I love the very pretty, feminine endings -anna, and -ella. Did you make these up? Or where did you hear of them? (I also like that both names could be shortened in more than one way - that gives your child options if they would prefer a shorter or more common name later in life.)

these are really unique names! calianna is my fav, you could call her cally for short. mariella is good to, mary for short. but ur not giving these names to twins are you? because that might embaress them in later life, unless you call them by cally and mary. but for just suggestions for one baby i would go with calianna, good luck!
