No not rough sex. The best position is the missionary position. What you are trying to do is to put semen as close to the cervix as possible. Semen softens the cervix, which the cervix needs to do in order to dilate. An orgasm for the mom is helpful too, because it's actually one big contraction. Nipple stimulation can also bring on contractions. Have mom stay in bed for a half hour or so to keep the semen against her cervix.

Whatever position is most comfortable for you.No it dose not need to be ruff. The idea is that when you orgasm it causes your uterus to contract. This if late enough in the pregnancy is supposed to bring on labor.

I don't think it can help with contraction but can initiate contraction. Hormones produced during sexual arousal can initiate labor and usually produces preterm labor (if preterm). But in your case your are due, it would be much better to avoid sex because it may mask true labor. Congrats!!!!!!!

It's not the position or the penetration. It's the SEMEN! It contains prostaglandins that may start labor. Lots of sex is what you need! Position doesn't matter.

Semen has natural induction chemicals in it. It doesn't matter what position.
