Think about it. You've been diagnosed with leukemia at a late stage, and you only have 40 days left to live. What would you do with that time?

Some were good though, like that guy who wanted to travel and stay with his family.

If possible, I'd sign up for a ton of life insurance. :)

Here is my list of things to be accomplished by day 40:
1. try to get myself a kid
2. go for a one night swing at a night club
3. donate 15% of my net worth to good causes
4. on day 15, I would have a feast with all my friends
5. Write my heart out to the woman I have always wanted
6. Take a tour of some place I have always wanted to go
7. Go for a swing with an Italian girl
8. get it right with god
Those are a few the things that come to mind at the moment. The point is that I would try my best to do things that are worthwhile, things that I have always wanted to do, so in the end I can look back and say to myself that I have had a good 40 days and a fulfilling life.

First, stop feeling scared and wondering why me. Having been in a nsimilar situation, I decided first to go out and do some of the things I'd allways wanted to try to do, (Ride a motorcycle, go skiing, go see someplace you've never been: mexico, Peru, Australia) I woke up every day thankful to be alive one more day. I did not stay in hospital. I did go to a tai chi dojo where I learned Shi Gong, and to a reiki practitioner. I am still here 8 years later!
Go have some fun!!!

Make sure I'm right with God. Repent. Abide by the 10 commandments. Have people pray for me that I'll enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

How sad! I guess I would enjoy my time with my family and friends, maybe blow my money on a nice trip somewhere, eat lots of food, and prepare myself for better things to come. I would try to think of it as an advantage, at least I would have time to prepare myself and my loved ones, a lot of people don't get that chance. :(

the question is more like what dont you do.
ANYTHING youve always wanted to try
drugs
extreme sports
sex and lots of it
(you could kill someone but i really dont suggest that)
Id probably go to india and live as a monk or a fakir for the time i have left.

first of all, God controls the length of time I exist, not doctors. but truthfull, i would say that i would go to church and do a whole lot of praying. i asked my friend this the other day, and she said that she would go shopping. what's the point buying a bunch of stuff when you're going to be dead?
