What is it about Answers that appeals to you?

I like the communication factor and the ability to share with everyone from all corners of the world. And I love the different personalities!

Well first it gives me something to do while I am at work. Bad griggser!!!! I know I should be working but this is much more interesting. LOL. I like to hear what other peoples opinions are on all the subjects. I like to read questions that remind me of things past, things possibly to come and hear ideas that challenge my mind and warm my heart. What I dont like is when people just answer to get points and the answers are rude, offensive, and make no sense. But it takes all kinds. Happy New Year!

It's just fun to see, and it can be soothing...some of the questions can be related to life...some remind you of things you have not thought of in a while, some remind you of how good you yourself have it and then there is just some that remind you of ignorance. It's the giving for me to, plus the debate at times can be fun. Challenges the mind with some of these Q & A's. It's a great pass the time thing ya know?
I like the picture of the tree...singles you out..

As you have said the different people we Q&A is what makes it interesting. Then along will come someone really needing help and if you can reach out and give a hand great. It's a nice safe way of being a people person.

good morning, darling, if i may still call you that. i'll disregard that our love is now on shaky ground, after i had so carefully nurtured our relationship, and brought us both to heights of ecstacy i never imagined possible.
as to your "?"- Y/A, esp. P&S, is like a chat room where ppl are actually talking! not the "hi, fred, hi linda, blah blah blah." chat rooms are like typing class, except you're learning zip. i awoke this morning to find i'd scored 3 B.A.s,which was a bigger kick than my 1st cup'o joe! thx to all who like my goofy answers and to those who are accepting my "friendship" and the "romance" (which is, of course, intended as humor!) to those who think me genuinely insane...it's called "joking!" 500 more pts to reach level 3. til then i must be selective of what i answer, cuz i sure missed you folks last night!
btw... i do have a "real life", dj'ing 4 eves/week thru the winter, and own a lawn care biz that i do 9 months a year. karaoke anyone?

The thing that Y! Answers has that appeals to me is the fact that you can get other people's opinions on subjects. I mean, people on Y/A are more likely to be honest with you than your friends would be because they don't want to hurt your feelings.
Also you can ask questions that are either embarrassing to ask someone you know or are kinda random questions that you doin't want to ask to take up someone you know's time.
Those are my main reasons. It is also a great thing to pass time with.

I like answers because I am able to find other peoples point of view on things. I also enjoy the ability to express my opinion and offer my perspective on things. I feel like I am of above average intelligence and if I can be of help then it is my God Given duty to do so.

you get to "see" thru VARIOUS perspectives

(you ALWAYS get 10 diffrent answers for the Same Question)

and sometimes I ask for and Recieve Valuable Strategies!
I use it to Findout somethings also
for example: I found out the name of this song via Yahoo Answers,i couldnt find it on the internet nor could i find it by asking my friends and associates

I agree with you. I love getting to know different people. I love have everyone has there own personal opinions and Yahoo! Answers is a place to get to know people from everywhere (America, Asia, Europe, etc.). :)♥

I like that aspect but I like that I can answer or ask at any time of the day. I have some time to waste every once in awhile nice to come here.
