Isn't the Cube already at $79.99. that sounds pretty cheap to me. Other than that, the price will definitely go down by fall of next year. They have been redcing the price for the last two years. This time next Christmas there probably won't be a Gamecube on store shelves. So if I were you I would head over to Ebay where you could probably get one for 50 to 60 bucks.Hope this helps.

The shelf existence of handhelds is diverse than consoles. Many extra human beings purchase handhelds as an casual gadget, so that they are now unlikely to bounce on the chance even as a sparkling hand-held is released, and Nintendo realizes this. So, instead of forcing human beings to purchase a DS, they kept helping the GBA crowd for a lengthy time period. And if I bear in mind, there have been nevertheless commonplace Gameboy shade video games for a lengthy time period after the GBA change into released. Many console vendors are of the "hardcore" form who will be prepared to purchase a sparkling console once their previous one isn't supported anymore, and Nintendo takes complete great thing about that....it would want to be fairly stupid in the journey that they did not. they have performed that with significant consoles ever because the SNES.

Not anytime soon... Since the Gamecube is no longer being made, it will probably be as popular as the older systems and handhelds, where the price will probably drop, to maybe 79.99 in 3 or 4 years maybe.

Game Cube will more likely decrease in price, but it will also be less in production. They will slowly slop making Game Cubes because the Wii is backwards compatible.
