Its about 6 weeks, but as far as I was concerned I celebrated when I got my decree nisi. I dont think you get papers for the absolute, it just happens on a set date. ( as far as I can remember anyway)

Mine took about 10 weeks, but I think its normally around 6 weeks. Got my nisi on April 1st, and my absolute on June 9th.

I didnt have to apply for it personally, thats what I paid my solicitor to do, so I have no idea of what the procedure actually entails.

It's 6 weeks after the nisi,
but you have to apply for it subject to matters concerning children's access and finances have been settled.

Once that has all been sorted then it's really quick.
