You most certainly should. Thats what I'd call a 'Hot-hatch'. Its got the stance, 16" alloy wheels, sports suspension package, a lion heart, air scoops in the front bumpers, air diffusers in the rear bumper, ... a fantastic package.

With Skoda-Volkswagen partnership, the Fabia RS will live up to its reputation

Cheers!

Why would you not buy a Skoda Fabia VRS - good value for your money - as good a design as others in that price range - specs consistant with all the others - low cost too maintain - reliable - and all the other points that you have posted. The 'image and design' the Skoda's had years ago are long gone - there design now adays keeps up with all the other makers designs - now they are among the 'top sellers' in there class and a lot of people prefere them too many of the so-called established names who's prices are more expensive for the same class of car. If its in your price range - BUY It - you'll have the warranty as indeed you would have with other choices but Skoda's warranty is second too none.!!

I noticed the skoda fabia (with the skoda engines and not the vw engines) that the cam chain starts making noises around 5 or 6 years old. i have had to put new sprockets and chain in one already
and the dealer has got another one just started making noises.

if you've already test driven one, you'll already know if you should. the handling is good. the 1.9TD diesel engine is the same as the VW one they use in all Golfs, Passats, Polos, Audi A3 to A6, Seats before the latest 2.0 from late 2005. so you're looking at a small car that has similar build to VW and Audi, but approx 70% of the cost, great handling, and lively performance. did you know the Fabia won "car of the year" a couple of years ago?
So my answer would be yes, if it's big enough to be practical for you

Yes, most definitely.

Read many car reviews, & all rate it highly. From memory only real complaint was the seat colour was too light, & therefore marked easily!
