Does Elizibeth really like Jack ? Cause at one point or another it seems like she actually does, like she's not pretending. Also the whole compass thing it's supose to point to what you want most, and for her it points to Jack.

right. the whole thing is just confusing and unanswered (we have to wait til the next movie). but to try and answer your question, elizabeth does like capt. jack a little. she does like him because she loves pirates and she loves adventure. i think that what was happening was not that she wanted jack most, but that the thing she wanted was always behing or in front of capt. jack. like the last time that she has the compass (on the island right before they find the chest) it appears that the compass was pointing to capt. jack and elizabeth said "this compass certainly does not show you what you want most" or something like that. but in fact, the compass was not pointing to capt. jack at all, it was indeed pointing to the chest. so elizabeth thought that it was showing that she wanted capt. jack most, but she really wanted the chest, and it Was pointing to the chest.
it could also be the fact that elizabeth needed capt. jack to find dear William. because capt. jack knew that he traded Will to davy jones, but elizabeth didn't know that, so she needed him and wanted him to help her.

First i have to say that i am so excited for the 3rd movie At Worlds End. i saw the first 2 again yesterday. and the thing with jack and elizabeth still confuses me i wasn't sure if she actually does like him or if she was pretending. i really thought that she really liked him when she kissed him on the ship until i realized that she was just locking him up on the ship. And then back at Tia Dalma's she seemed genuinely sad about Jack being captured. The whole compass thing was weird also. it was interesting that it pointed to Jack but then i just thought that maybe the treasure was under him until they found out it was really under her. i think it was all about that curiousity thing. but i wish Will told Elizabeth what he had seen becuase he feels betrayed and all. i hope Elizabeth and Jack don't get together in the 3rd movie.

I think it's more of a love-hate thing with Jack. The compass pointed to Jack because her hate for him was her consuming thought at the time. He had betrayed her and Will and she wanted him dead; but she needed Jack to find Will.

I read somewhere that Will will die in the 3rd movie that's why in the production photos it's only elizabeth, barbossa, and Jack but will isn't there... I'm just not sure with this... but I'd really like Elizabeth and will to hve a happy ending!!! :D

i think she doesnt like either 1 of them and likes norrington. just a completelyrandom guess. and i think the compass pointed 2 jack cuz she needs him to open the chest? i dont no but yeah

Elizabeth is like the rest of us--can't resist Johnny Depp. She will probably come to her senses in the third movie and realize he isn't right for her.

I believe that truely she is in love with Will. However...you can resist jack?? Im pretty sure that she'll end up finally marrying will.
