Tried to answer your previous but could not remember the product details...now I have found what you require but you can only buy it online or sometimes at B&Q Depot. It is hard to get hold of but it is the stuff the manufacturers use.
You need AMBERSIL White Silcoset 152 Temperature range -60C to 300C
It cost me £11.99 + Vat 3 years ago but it was the only sealant/adhesive that could withstand the temperature change. Others claimed, this delivered!!

They are very helpful..just tell them what you need it for and when it arrives follow the instructions exactly and use masking tape to secure the panel until the sealant sets (overnight)

Depends on how hot it is going to get. barniefer said to go to an auto parts store. That is an excellent idea. There are several different silicone based products available for auto usage.

Ask Sikka grouts for weather and heat resistant silicon
