My hubby and I were working at our church for a wedding. He was helping in the kitchen and I was waitressing. The song "When a Man loves a Woman" came on. I looked up and saw him walking across the dance floor (white apron on lol) and he pulled me away from the table I was clearing, and slow danced the entire song with me. Whenever I hear that song, I will always remember that.

The most romantic moment of my life, I think, was the moment I said goodbye to the woman I loved. She loved me, too, but, for reasons that are way too complicated to explain here, she told me that she would be forced to marry someone else if I did not intervene and I chose not to intervene. The simple explanation, though, as to why I chose not to intervene was that I was (and am, even 20 years later) poor, and she (and the other guy ) were (and still are) both extremely wealthy. I think she understood but she was not happy about my decision. Still, I have never truly regretted my decision. I feel sure that she is happy and, knowing that she is happy makes me happy, too.

i was playing tennis with my boyfriend, who is from the czech republic. it was october and beautiful outside. nearby, in the park, the farmer's fall festival was going on, and a calliope started playing a song. my bf's face lit up and he said, "i know this song!" so he started singing it along with the calliope in czech, then, when a gust of wind came and blew some leaves across the court, he started playfully batting at them with his tennis raquet.

it was just one of those moments that i will never forget. even though it's not what a lot of people think of as "romantic," i felt nothing but love for that man that day.
